The Palmer Society Invites You…
Events are held throughout the Fall by all societies, anyone interested in societies are highly encouraged to meet the actives. Students are strongly encouraged to take advantage of each of these events to get to know more about the Societies they may consider joining. Bids are given out at the end of fall semester, with New Member Education occurring at the beginning of the spring semester.

Finally, anytime you are interested in finding out more about Society Life, please approach any member of any Society to find out more throughout the year. They will be happy to discuss this great Whittier College tradition!

“Guac” and talk with the Palmers as we have a fundraising dinner together at Chipotle Mexican Grill in Whittier! Be sure to mention The Palmer Society to the cashier or show the flyer below to support the society.
October 29th – Stars & S’mores
Time & Meeting Location: 6:00-7:00pm at Stauffer Courtyard
Relax and sit around the Stauffer Courtyard campfire with the Palmers to make some “out of this world” s’mores and gaze at the stars!
October 19th – Palmers & Pumpkins
Time & Meeting Location: 10:00am at CI Parking Lot
Join the Palmers as we go on an adventure to the Cal Poly Pomona Pumpkin Patch to enjoy the fall festivities and “pick the picture perfect pumpkins”!
October 8th – Dinner at Mimo’s
Time & Meeting Location: 6:00-7:00pm at CI Parking Lot
Enjoy dinner with the Palmers at Mimo’s Café in Uptown Whittier where the menu has a diverse selection of foods (i.e. sandwiches, burritos, and burgers) and drinks (i.e. espresso and smoothies)! The Palmer Society will be fundraising at Mimo’s for the entire day from restaurant open to close (8am-9pm) if you and/or your friends would like to support us! Just show the flyer below before making your order!
October 1st – Open House
Time & Meeting Location: 6:00-8:00pm at the Science Learning Center (SLC) 5th floor
Get to know more of the members of The Palmer Society by attending our Open House and mingling with current active members and alumnae. Refreshments and snacks will be provided!
September 17th – Student Activities Fair
Time & Location: 4:30-6:30pm at North Lawn
The Palmer Society will be one of many featured clubs/organizations at the fair. Drop by our striking navy blue table to get a snapshot of who we are and what we represent!
September 24th – Chillin’ with the Palmers
Time & Meeting Location: 6:00-7:00pm at CI Parking Lot
Have a “chill” night with the Palmers by joining us in Uptown Whittier at Chillin’ Tea House to play games and chat over refreshing bubble teas!
